Drawing on my experience as a Psychotherapist and a Mindfulness Practitioner, I offer guided sessions designed to support well-being, improve focus, and promote emotional resilience.
Mindfulness for your Needs My workshops and talks offer a collaborative and supportive space for attendees to explore both formal and informal meditation practices. With a focus on reflection, self-compassion, and mindfulness in daily life, my sessions emphasise practical tools for well-being and to meet the challenges of daily life.
Looking to explore your meditation practice? I offer Mindfulness Mentoring, drawing on my extensive background as a Psychotherapist, a Mindfulness Practitioner in the Plum Village Tradition (founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh), and as an ordained member of the Order of Interbeing, with the dharma name: Chánh Niệm đích Dhực, True Path of Mindfulness Practice.
Mindfulness Mentoring provides a supportive space for deep listening, reflection and exploration of your formal and informal meditation practice. Through insight dialogue and deep listening, I offer guidance, support and encouragement as we co-create a collaborative process to support your journey.
Thich Nhat Hanh, Zen Master, poet, activist, and founder of the Plum Village tradition, was instrumental in popularising mindfulness in its modern form. Thay, as he was affectionately known by his students, made mindfulness accessible around the world.
Through his global network of monasteries, his students continue to spread his simple yet profound teachings on living fully in the present moment. Despite the passing of Thich Nhat Hanh on January 22, 2022, Thay's legacy and teachings continue through his global community of monastic and lay practitioners.
This 8-week programme blends meditation practices with learnable skills to address stress. It originated at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn established the well-regarded Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Clinic.
Although initially developed for stress management, it has evolved to encompass the treatment of a variety of health-related concerns. These include anxiety, depression, skin diseases, pain, immune disorders, hypertension and diabetes. It employs 8-weeks of mindfulness meditation to alleviate suffering associated with mind-body stress in a supportive peer group environment with an emphasis on formal and informal mindfulness practice and skills development.
Where my schedule allows, I offer the MBSR programme in-person and online as well as Mindfulness workshops throughout the year.
